I think it uses satellite. I used it to get out of a mess and had zero cell service but they came on very clear. The newer vehicles have the sat link, maybe it was the older ones that didn't.

you will see that the victim is being rescued and that he is in the middle of some desert wilderness.
the problem i have with this ad is based on my road trip experience last summer and the premise of onstar's claim that you must have cell phone coverage.

What is she doing with her life? Religion aside, if she is doing nothing and has 2 kids, you may be her meal ticket. It doesn't look like any good could become of it. Wild JWs are worse than normal people. You'd have better luck with a churchy normal girl, hopefully no kids or somebody with a career and life all together.

Well I've been to Cuba twice in the past few years. On first glance and if you look how much people earn, you say, wow, they live in poverty! Doctors earn about $20 per month. Now if we look further, literacy is very high as well as home ownership. People have food, clothing and medical care. There are few fat people as one doesn't have enough food or money to be a glutton. No big screen tvs or fancy cars but more people socializing with other people. People are surviving on less and are generally happy. Money doesn't make people happy. How much money would you need to earn if you had a home, medical care, food and utilities paid? I think the embargo hurts the Cuban people. The people are living a step up from the poor in many countries but better as a whole than under Batista. The same is happening in Venezuela. If 80% of the country lives in poverty, do you keep the status quo so as not to trample on the property rights of the 20% while the 80% struggles and starves?

my ex was ordered to pay child support the first of each month.
well i hardly ever see a dime of it unless i call him and have to bitch him out to send the state a payment for child support.

Don't play games. Men always use money to hurt the wife and women use the kids to hurt the husband. If you win, you kid loses and will be messed up. Be the better person and make sure the kids knows nothing about dad not paying. You need to be the strong one and good one here or later in life you'll regret it.

How are American Small businesses at a disadvantage?
by wanderlustguy ini've read this on the thread about minimum wage, and i own a small business, have run several small businesses (under 100 employees) and feel this is one of the easiest, least restrictive, and most profitable business demographics to be in.
as a matter of fact, i do even better the smaller the business is.

American workers don´t want to work as hard anymore. Many desire things their parents had after working many years. Many want jobs but few want to work. Increasing global pressure and foreign workers who are happy to have a job will make many obsolete. Americans need to wake up and educate themselves.
